With our update to version 3.0.6, we have implemented two fundamental improvements.
The percentage-based, occupancy-related overnight tax is now easy to calculate. Cities such as Dresden and Leipzig have already introduced an accommodation tax based on a percentage of the gross accommodation costs of the guests accommodated; other cities are likely to follow this model. A final invoice can now be conveniently created for both chargeable and exempt guests in a room, in which the amount of the tax shares is shown transparently.
In our documentation you will find instructions on how to create the occupancy-based accommodation tax and settle it in the booking.
With the current Lodgit Desk version 3.0.6, several labels can be assigned to a booking, which appear at the bottom of the booking window. The name of the label (e.g. late check-in) is now also displayed. In addition to the general labels, you can now also create individual notes that only relate to a specific booking. This gives you a better overview in the booking plan and allows you to quickly enter guest-specific information visually.
You can find out how to create labels and assign them to a booking in our documentation.
In response to many requests from our customers, it is now also possible to send emails directly from the booking window. For group bookings, all or selected guests of the group booking can receive an email.
